At Happy Cottage, we want you to love your order. Because many of our products are made-to-order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, incorrect sizing choices, or change-of-mind purchases.

Returns & Exchanges

We currently do not accept returns.

Replacement or refund options if an item arrives an item arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrect due to our error

Please review product descriptions, sizing information, and personalization details carefully before placing your order.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the problem

Once reviewed, we will gladly offer either:

  • A replacement item, or
  • A full refund

depending on the situation.


Shipping Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Postal carriers
  • Weather
  • Customs
  • Incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout

If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier but cannot be located, please contact your local post office or carrier directly first.

However, if your order is lost in transit or arrives severely damaged, please reach out and we will work with you to resolve the issue.


Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow several business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.

Non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
